A personal invitation from Tiago
When I was 31, I was certain I knew what I would be for the rest of my life. I wrote publicly that I was a teacher and always would be. A woman left a kind comment: I was still young, she said, and might discover other things I loved and could do. I dismissed it at the time. Years later, I realized how much of my future I had tried to settle with a sentence about myself.
We take one chapter of life and mistake it for the whole book.
I tell that story because our own descriptions can become remarkably persuasive. In each audio, I will bring a story from my own life into the reflection, then leave space for you to explore yours. You do not have to force a dramatic reinvention. You can begin by seeing your life more clearly.
I am Tiago Amorim, an anthropologist and psychoanalyst, and the author of six books, including three works of fiction. My work has long brought me to the meeting point of personal history, identity and the choices through which we shape a life. This program brings that perspective into a private, guided experience you can do in your own time.
